"Superstition #7" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

I ran out of names for Superstition Mountain so this will be #7. It's a close location for me to get to and I never get tired of the structures in the cliff walls. Click on the image for a larger view

"White Castle" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

This scene was shot from my very first trip to the Grand Canyon in December of 2003. I've painted this formation before from a different angle, and I have a 16x20 that is near completion of the same cliff face. I never get tired of painting it. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Blue Cliffs" 9x12 (Click here to bid on eBay)

This was one of the last shots I took of the Grand Canyon from the first trip I took there in the winter of 2003. It was a cloudless day until the last hour and then thin wispy clouds appeared. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Daytime Moon" 11 x 14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

This is my first composition from a trip I took over to Apache Junction and the famous Superstition Mountains that border Phoenix on the east side of the valley. It started out as a cloud dappled sky, but by the time the sun set, the clouds had burned off to a totally clear sky. I missed a rare monsoon that swept through the valley only two days earlier. Now that would have been interesting. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Low Clouds Over Sedona" SOLD (Click here to view results on eBay)

This painting is of one of the many Sedona cliff structures that surround that mountain community. It is an amazing place to visit for the colors and land masses, and stands out as a very different enviornment compared to other places in Arizona. There, you have running streams just about years round and thick forests of trees that grow everywhere except on the sides of these cliffs. Click on the image for a larger view.
