This scene was from shots I took from all over the desert but primarily from Anthem, a city just north of Phoenix. Every night it seems there is a warm sunset glow cast over the hills and mountains of the desert. It may be from the dust in the air. I'm not sure but it is always more red than the midwest. "Low Clouds Over Sedona" SOLD (Click here to view results on eBay)

This painting is of one of the many Sedona cliff structures that surround that mountain community. It is an amazing place to visit for the colors and land masses, and stands out as a very different enviornment compared to other places in Arizona. There, you have running streams just about years round and thick forests of trees that grow everywhere except on the sides of these cliffs. Click on the image for a larger view.
