"Wandering Stream" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

Choosing a more tranquil scene again, I went back into my New York trip and found some more images of Colgate's campus to paint. I'm constantly wondering what this area looks like in the winter. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Hitting the Bricks" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

I have a few more images of the Central Park Handsome Cabs that I want to paint yet. This one had a good looking horse that I thought looked a lot like Trigger, Roy Roger's famous ride, and I just about titled it..."Is that you Trigger?" I didn't think anyone would get that, and the ones that did would remind me that Roy had Trigger stuffed and mounted on a pedestal in his museum in Victorville Ca. "Caramel Apple #4" 8x10 (Click here to bid on eBay)

Looking through my reference of past still life subjects, I ran across this shot of a caramel apple against a dark background. I thought back then that it would be pretty dramatic and fun to paint, and it was. Click on the image for a larger view.
