This is my first composition from a trip I took over to Apache Junction and the famous Superstition Mountains that border Phoenix on the east side of the valley. It started out as a cloud dappled sky, but by the time the sun set, the clouds had burned off to a totally clear sky. I missed a rare monsoon that swept through the valley only two days earlier. Now that would have been interesting. Click on the image for a larger view.

Very Nice, I love that smell of the desert, that time of day as the magig hour is just beginning. You captured that feeling really well.
