Easter Bunny SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's my last painting of the ceramic candy bowl bunny. It's fun to paint, but three sounds like a good number to stop on, afterall, I painted just three rubber duckies and I wouldn't to be known as either the ducky or bunny painter on eBay. Click on the image for a larger view.

Coffee and Cream and Jelly SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's another image that I painted from some shots that my daughter Kacey took for me while on Spring Break with her mom. She's got a different eye for design than me and it's great to be able to paint from someone else's perspective on how to look at objects. Click on the image for a larger view.

Creamed Coffee SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting of a single cup of coffee that I painted from some shots my daughter kacey took while on Spring Break with her Mom in Palm Springs. I liked the classy white on white look of the scenes. I have another piece going up soon that's alot like this. White tablecloths are not too common around here. Jackson Hole Evening SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting I did from some shots that I took from just inside Teton National Park. It was only 8 pm, but this was in November, and the stars were already out. I have a few more shots like this that I want to try soon. Maybe on a larger scale. Click on the image for a larger view.

Sedona Creek SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting of a creek that we walked along while traveling around Sedona. I have a map of Sedona somewhere, and I'll come up with an exact name or location as soon as I can. Click on the image for a larger view.

Sedona Landmark SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

I'm not sure what this rock structure is called, but I will research it and post it's proper name later. It's the classic view that you always see when do a seach of the most popular views in Sedona tho. Click on the image for a larger view.

Pears in a Bowl SOLD (Cick here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting I wanted to do from life. My wife was visiting the kids out west, so I had the run of the house for a week. I was going to leave my french easle set up in our kitchen and paint from good natural light a few times, but I ended up having to clean up and leave the house twice for showings, and ended up just photographing and painting it from a digital file. Bunny SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's another painting of that ceramic bunny that I found last month. I think I'm going to paint him one more time after this, and try to really capture the old chipped and beat up aspect of him. I have one more nice composition that really shows off the chips and cracks. Click on the image for a larger view.

Eclair on a Platter SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's one of my new props with one of my old subjects. This eclair is a little more classic from the first one that I did. The first one was big enough to feed three, and it had wavey frosting swirled on top. From what I remember, it tasted better too. Click on the image for a larger view.

Bunny and Beans (SOLD)

Here's a painting I did from a little ceramic bunny that I found at a local thrift shop. It's the second piece that I've put in my eBay store at a fixed price. Click on the image for a larger view.

Apple Strudel (SOLD)

Here's a painting of an apple studel sitting on my new marble cutting board. I liked the frosting on this piece the most, and just to let you know, the apple filling was nonexistant. The only filling that ws there was what you see. I was really dissapointed. This thing was 90% air. Click on the image for a larger view.

Peach Pie (AVAILABLE ON THIS BLOG FOR $100)

Here's a painting of a peach pie that we found at a local bakery. I tried to light it so the piece missing and the pie tin itself is more the focal point than the pie. I have an eclair and an apple strudel that will be painted soon from the same bakery. Click on the image for a larger view.

Basket of Berries SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting I had high hopes for. I thought the basket with the teal transparent plastic ribs and the cellophane wrap would really be fun to paint, especially if it's set into a dark enviornment where it can really stand out, but I forgot one thing. Strawberries are hard to paint. I've tried suggesting the seeds on the sides, and I've tried to render them also. I haven't been 100% happy with either way of painting them, but I haven't given up trying. I have some more layouts from this photoshoot that I'll retry later this year. Candle and Pear SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

I always wanted to do a candle, but after this one I think I'll do it from life next time. The colors and values are not even close to being correct when viewed from the best photograph, so I think I'm going to have to set up a challenge for myself and try one from a live sitting. Click on the image for a larger view.

Bowl of Cherries (SOLD)

This is a painting of a bowl of cherries, that is also my first painting being offered in my eBay store. Click on the image for a larger view.

Cup of Joe SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

A painting of a cup of coffee from a resturant in Yankton South Dakota. Click on the image for a larger view.

Monument Peaks SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

A view of one of the formations in Monument Valley. Click on trhe image for a larger view.

Canyon Wall SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

Here's a painting of the Grand Canyon again. I think it's time for me to try to bring some of these to a bigger scale. I have a 16x20 nearly finished that I'm going to put in my eBay store this weekend. Click on the image for a larger view.

Peeled Orange SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

This painting brings me back to the first painting that I did for auction on eBay, 223 paintings ago. My first painting is still my favorite. An orange totally peeled with the peels laying next to it, on a cutting board. I don't know what to think about that. Is this as good as I'm going to get? Click on the image for a larger view.

Sunset on the North Rim SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

I'll need to update this shot before I send this out because I made a couple of corrections that I think made it better. They may not even show up to most people, but I can see them. Click on the image for a larger view.

Lemon and a Wedge SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

I started this painting a few weeks ago, painted it loose and colorful and didn't like it. I decided to save it by painting over the loose areas and toning down the color, so now I have a rendering with the regular knife cuts and dimples on the lemon. One of these days I'm going to pull off a good lemon painting in one sitting. Click on the image for a larger view.

Cut Avocado SOLD (Click here to view eBay results)

I've always liked painting avocados. I guess it's the various shades of green that normally give me trouble. With these avocados, the shades are easier to see because they run the gamut. I see a green field and I lay on the green raw out of the tube, but hardly ever is it as green as it may seem. It's a tough color for me to control. Click on the image for a larger view.

Pair of Onions (Click here to view eBay results)

Here are a couple of onions that never fail to give an artist more than enough texture, color, and subtle variations. The transparent paper thin skins are impossible to capture, but it's fun trying. Click on the image for a larger view.
