          This was painted from a shot I took near Central
     Park in November of 2014. It was a rainy morning
     on our way to the Metropolitan Art Museum on the
     east side of Central Park.

               This was painted from photos taken at the 
      Grand Canyon in 2012. It was one of the last 
      shots taken before the sun disappeared.

    This is a studio painting of the lava stone shore in Maui. I painted
this scene en plein air while we were there last December, but this one
was created in my studio.

       This is a studio painting of a white cliff edge at the Grand Canyon. This 
was painted in 2012 from photos taken that year on one of my trips there
where it was finally sunny!

    Last November we traveled to New York City to watch our grandson
play football at Stony Brook University on Long Island. It was the first
time in New York for my wife and we had a great time riding the subways
up and down Manhattan trying to take in as many sites as we could. The
first morning there was a trip to Central Park and the Metropolitan Art
Museum. Great day for a museum visit but not so much for the park.

   This is a painting I did from a still life setup that a friend and I
painted from last year in Torrance, California. Martin, a fellow
painter from Art Center has a ton of Southwestern art objects that
we had to choose from
