    Last November we traveled to New York City to watch our grandson
play football at Stony Brook University on Long Island. It was the first
time in New York for my wife and we had a great time riding the subways
up and down Manhattan trying to take in as many sites as we could. The
first morning there was a trip to Central Park and the Metropolitan Art
Museum. Great day for a museum visit but not so much for the park.
