     This is a scene of a tree bridge that crosses a

small stream in Southern California near Encinitas.

I plein air painted there many years ago and was 

glad to took may photos to paint from later.

      Central Park West borders Central Park on 

the West side with many attractions just inside

the walls like Strawberry Fields and just outside

the park, The Natural History Museum.

       This is the Trefoil Bridge in Central Park which 

was made somewhat famous as one of the locations

used in the hilarious comedy, "Out of Towners" 

staring Jack Lemmon. That movie, although very

funny, painted a very unattractive picture of New 

York City.

        The snack stands are all over Central Park

and some are very specialized, but then there are 

some that have too much of a choice.

        Central Park has many underpasses that dot the

park, but the carved stone ones are the most fun to paint.

      This was a great little stream I visited back

in 2005 or so. It was sandy and rocky at the same

time without one trying to outdo the other.

        Sage of many varieties dot the landscape of

the Grand Canyon. It's amazing that they can find

nourishment to grow out of rocks.

   This is a scene I've painted may times. Just East of my home here

in Gilbert is a rustic suburb called Apache Junction. It lies just below

the Western Face of Superstition Mountain.
