This is the famous "Duck Rock" on the South
Rim of the Grand Canyon. I've painted it many times
in other compositions and sizes. The light has to creep
around it a little more to really start looking like a duck.

A few years ago I visited Sedona for about
the fourth time, but this time it was in January
and I was lucky enough to see Oak Creek dusted
with a thin layer of snow. It didn't last too long
though, the snow turned to rain and soon it was
gone.

The front of the New York City Public Library
is guarded by two carved lions, Patience and Fortitude.
They were renamed by Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia in the
1930's in the depths of the Depression. They were
originally named Astor and Lenox after the Libraries
founders.

This is a New York City scene of one of the
many snack carts that are all over the city, ready
to ruin your dinner.

This scene of the Grand Canyon caught me eye
because of the hazy distance you feel from the clouds
shadowing the distant walls of the canyon.
