      This is a scene in Central Park of one of the 

many sculptures in the area they call the Mall. It

has many of the famous writers, poets, and statesmen

of our country that were commissioned by groups that

wanted their favorite heroes to be immortalized in 

bronze for the visitors to enjoy for centuries to come.

   This is a small oil I painted of one of 

my favorite beaches in Southern California.

It's below Torrey Pines Golf Course near

Carlsbad California. The beach is dark sand

and the cliffs are high and often times the

surf is not this calm.

          The Grand Canyon near sunset has to be

the best time to photograph or paint there.

     The shadows get longer and the colors get

richer. What more could you ask for?

    This is one of my favorite things to paint.
Not the flowers, but the vase. Seriously flower
petals are so delicate that it's near impossible 
to paint them with the softness they deserve.

   This is a famous cactus here in Arizona. It's

so easy to get it's needles in you that some 

people say it must have jumped on them.

    This is a scene of Heisler Beach in Laguna

Beach, California. I painted this a couple of

years ago on site and brought it home to clean 

it up. Its one of California's most picturesque

coastlines that I've visited.
