When you visit the Grand Canyon you can
never count on what kind of weather you'll get that
day. My first 3 visits were greg overcast days until
the last 3o minutes of that 3rd day when the sun
dipped below the cloud layer and gave the crowd
a 4th of July like display of colors!

This may be the 6th time I've painted the
Brooklyn Bridge and the first time as a night
time version. I can still hear the traffic up
there getting the people to where they are
going.

Central Park has always been one of my favorite
subjects to paint. I wished I had the time to paint from
life there but all my scenes are from photos I take on
visits there. The light is always amazing and the iconic
images are never ending.
