"Warming Sun" SOLD (Click here to view results on eBay)

I needed to get busy on as many snow scenes as I can. Before you know it, the snow will be gone and I'll have to start concentrating on painting Spring flooding. Click on the image for a larger view.

Really fine, Mick. Looks like Snowbowl country again.

That's glorious light you have there through the trees and I love the way you've achieved that crystalized effect in the snow at the foreground. Nice work.

One of my favorite of yours. The color of the snow is so complex. You are a magician with that brush! The light through the trees is so warm in contrast with the cool colors of winter.

Ouch! I missed your auction! This is an absolutely lovely painting - the low perspective, the sense of life in the snow, the blue shadows... I'm glad you got a good price! - Carole W.
