Manhattan Side of the Brooklyn SOLD (Click here to view results on eBay)

I had one shot to get some nice light on this famous bridge. My feet were aching so that was another excuse to just sit down and just admire it. By the time I got some feeling back in my toes, the sun broke through the cloud layer to give me a slight yellow glow on the base and even a shadow from one of the skyscrapers from lower Manhattan. Have seen The Lone Tenement, by Bellows? The light in this one reminds me of that. Very nice.

Beautiful Mick, Reminds me of Rackstraw Downes, if you don't know him please research his artwork, he paints fairly large artwork on site. A lot are in New York. Light is very, very, nice on this one.
