This is a scene of one of the lions in the front of the new York City Public Library. It is an amazing building outside with other sculptures dedicated to knowledge and freedom, but to really see something special, you have to check out the inside. It's not the number of books, but the marble staircases, chandeliers, and hand carved woodwork that makes you think it must have cost a billion dollars to build. Click on the image for a larger view.
