About Me
- Name: mick mcginty
- Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States
I've been an artist since age 5, when I remember drawing an airplane better than my older brother. It was a bi-wing with a propeller, (not that I'm that old... it was 1957 and it was a racing plane), and it was encouraging because up until then, it was the only thing I could remember doing better. I kept at it, and now nearly 50 years later I'm still trying to improve my creative process. Now I realize you never get better than anyone else... just more unique to your own style, and become the best painter you can be.

Mick, thanks for your kind comments! I have really enjoyed watching your blog - since finding it - and today, you have another very nice piece! Thanks also for your comments on art and faith! Good to know fellow travelers. :-)
Another good one. and french fries just happen to be my most favorite food in the world.
Thanks everyone.
Painting and publishing on the web has been alot of fun, but there are times when I find it hard to justify what to paint. I guess if there is no reason except for decoration, I shouldn't worry. I keep thinking there should be some kind of message behind these though. Now's my chance, people are looking, why not say something.
Mick
Well, please keep painting this sort of stuff! I just love the everyday, the stuff we often don't look at twice. My favourite kind of subject. And the reason why I'm such a fan of your work (well and your amazing technical skills of course).
I love the ketchup. Fabulous work.
