I'm going to post at least two paintings a week...minimum. Most will be 5"x 7" to keep things small, but like the first one...they will vary. I'll be including a link to Ebay to bid on these. Any that don't sell will be designated on this blog, and can be purchased for the minimum of $100.00

I've been an artist since age 5, when I remember drawing an airplane better than my older brother. It was a bi-wing with a propeller, (not that I'm that old... it was 1957 and it was a racing plane), and it was encouraging because up until then, it was the only thing I could remember doing better. I kept at it, and now nearly 50 years later I'm still trying to improve my creative process. Now I realize you never get better than anyone else... just more unique to your own style, and become the best painter you can be.

I think you could use more vegetables in your diet, Mick. Take care of yourself.
I think you're right...I was just thinking, the people that bid on these things might like how they look, but they are the last thing they actuallt want to put in thier body or hang on thier walls to temp them. I think I'm inspired to paint some green beans for my son Jeremy who today is a big strong healthy guy because we made him eat them....Thanks...seriously!

I love your subject!!!!! I'm not a healthy eater so this painting is straight up my alley. Reason why I love it is because I love fried eggs sunny side up with toast or bread on the side...it's my breakfast of champions. MMM, I'm thinking I might fry a couple of eggs now, take care!

I love them too..breakfast is my favorite meal by far with all the shiney food. I have some bacon and eggs waiting to be painted. I guess I really work up a good appetite sleeping.
