There was a resturant in Yankton S. D. that my wife and I tried to find some old fashioned fixtures, but it turned out they were just another cafe with semi interesting decorations. This dramatic neon lit scene was pretty interesting tho. We're planning a trip to Edgar's old fashioned Soda Shop in Elk Point S.D.sometime, and we're hoping we'll have better luck.

hey Mick, I defenetly can see that this painting is a bit more loose than the other ones. I'm sturgling as well with looseness. I guess is part of our nature to be a little more rendered...I don't think of that as bad. What helped me the most with my little "Orange" painting was watching Duane Keiser's videos on his site. You learn a lot from his footage. Take care and happy painting.
