"Palo Verde Garden" 8x10 (Click here to bid on eBay)

After what seems like a month of illustration work to devote my energy to, I was finally able to complete a piece for my blog. This is the second time that I didn't live up to my blog's name, Twiceaweek. The first time was back in May when my daughter was married at the first of the month and I had a painting workshop that kept me away till the middle of May. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things. Click on the image for a larger view.

Mick, you captured the Arizona light perfectly. It really makes me want to be there, away from this Georgia heat and humidity!

Beautiful in colors and close up of mountain With the Saguaro! Really captures the passion of the desert Mick. Are you back in the swing?
Best to your daughter's new Life as a bride!

Hi Mick. As a fellow artist I really enjoy visiting your site, and feeling I'm back on one of my trips to the beautiful American west. Your work is both spacial and honest. Wish I was at the Grand Canyon righ this minute!

Great work on Saguaro and surrounding desert. Really makes me want to take a southwest trip -- (I used to get atleast one of those in a year, but it's been a couple of those since.) --
