"Tangelos" 9x12 )Click here to bid on eBay)

This is the last painting I painted from the garage studio that I was working in at my daughter Kacey's house in Chandler. We came out to stay for the winter back in November of '07, but we sold our house in South Dakota in December and moved whatever we didn't sell to Arizona in January. Our new home is in the south of Gilbert in a development called Seville. This will be the 80th painting that I completed during those hot days and nights in that garage. It's a painting of one of the tangelos that our Aunt Mary gave us from the many fruit trees she has in her yard in Peoria. Click on the image for a larger view.

The colors in that peel in the foreground are just magical. I'm usually a lurker, but just had to surface and say "Wow!"
