Lake Tahoe's "Hidden harbor" is on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, about half way up the esat side of the lake. It's small compared to other sites, but has a lot to offer the siightseer. Click on the image for a larger view.

This scene was painted from shots taken at Lake Tahoe in November of '08. The campsites were all closed for the winter so my access to the lake shore was limited. Click on the image for a larger view.

This was a scene I painted from a shot I took from our trip through Tahoe last year in November. Mountain lakes are a lot different from the lakes I knew of in Nebraska. These you can see underwater for 30 feet, the ones in Nebraska, 3 inches. Click on the image for a larger view.

This piece was done from reference I shot last November in Lake Tahoe. The campsites had all closed for the winter just a few weeks before we got there, so the only spot easily accessible was Secret Harbor. I've painted at least six pieces from this location. Click on the image for a larger view.
