Beach House SOLD (Click here to bid on eBay)
This painting was done from the same photo shoot when we went down to Oceanside Pier in May. The house is cool looking and I suppose pretty comfortable for whoever lives there, but the constant traffic and beach noise must get old.
Someone told me it's illegal to paint a scenery of someone's home in France, without permission. I can understand why. Some older homes can make great paintings. Click on the image for a larger view.

What a terrible french law! Buildings become fixtures to the land and should be a joy to view - and when they are it shouldn't be a crime to paint them anymore than it should be a crime to paint the cactus or rocks that adorn the desert.
I am originally from Oceanside, and this is a very famous house. This house was used in the film "Top Gun" as the home of Charlie, played by Kelly McGillis
