"Pennies and Lilies" 12" x 16" (Click here to bid on eBay)

"Pennies and Lilies"
I dug into my old New York City reference
and found some of my favorite subjects to
paint. There Bethesda Fountain in Central Park
has some great water lilies that are fed with
coins daily. Click on the image for a larger

"Under the Willows" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

The sun was low at around 6 pm when we first ran through this part of Central Park. I do mean run too. In the 3 days we were there, we must have gone up and down Manhattan 6 or 7 times, in all hours of the day. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Next Stop" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

This painting has been on my waiting list for a long time now. It was nine months ago that I ran around Manhattan with son Jobey and his friend Matt. It was a a marathon trying to keep up with the pace, and I wasn't able to stay in any one place to take shots of the city, except when we were waiting for the subway trains.
