This is the 4th time I've painted a view of the Brooklyn Bridge since visting NYC in the summer of 2007.

This scene is near Bethesda Fountain in Central park and very close also to the outdoor amphitheater. Central Park has many wide walking streets where no bikes are allowed. They seem to keep everything separated well in there. Click on the image for a larger view.

My trip to New York City in '07 is still fresh in my mind, and luckily, the pain that my feet went through walking and running up and down Manhattan, has faded. Click on the image for a larger view.

It was around 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon, after just watching the Yankees beat Boston in their last meeting that year, we jumped off the subway and made our way into Central Park for the first time. This is the pathway approach to the Bethesda memorial and fountain. Click on the image for a larger view.
