Here's a shot I've been wanting to paint for quite a while, but I needed it to get a little warmer before I thought it would even look appealing to anyone. This was taken at a little resturant here in town while we sat at one of the front windows. Click on the image for a larger view.
Mick, This one is just fantastic! I love the strong verticals in the composition.
ReplyDeleteThanks Craig...I was more excited about the bright colors that I was trying to show, but now that you mention it, there were alot of verticles that I had to manage.

Mick - my momma was from the south - she raised us to drink ice tea even in the dead of winter -
ReplyDeleteVery appealing painting - love the play of light off the ice cubes and the reflections on the napkin holder.
Mick....awesome job as usual. The amber color of the tea.....the sunlight on the glass. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYou are like me with the camera out whereever I go!
Now if only I could translate the images to paint like you can!!
Look at all those reflections you got. Great job.
ReplyDeleteMy friend (Robin) introduced me to your "vision". It was so inspiring that I will (after many years) squeeze paint from the tubes and douse myself in color. Thank you!
