I'm going to post at least two paintings a week...minimum. Most will be 5"x 7" to keep things small, but like the first one...they will vary. I'll be including a link to Ebay to bid on these. Any that don't sell will be designated on this blog, and can be purchased for the minimum of $100.00

Tootsie Pop (Click here to view eBay results)
Here's a painting of a Tootsie Pop. Not only one of my favorite candies, it's also my favorite flavor. The commercial that they ran years ago about the question," did you bite?" was a classic. I'm still tempted, but I'm proud to say I never do. I cringe when I hear little five year olds, that never saw the commercial, crunch down on one in the first minute. I just had to say it is also a major problem for me personally when I hear ANYONE chewing up hard candy within seconds of popping it in their mouth. Cool painting...makes me crave a tootsie.
ReplyDeleteGotta confess - I'm one of those people who can't resist crunching down right away. Great art! Take a look at my blog if you get a chance.
ReplyDeleteMy fave too. Amazing painting. How DID you do the 'writing?' You must have a brush with 1 hair in it!!!!
ReplyDeletegreat painting...but cherry is a close second to chocolate
ReplyDeleteOh gee, what a help you are! I just started a diet four days ago and now I want a tootsie pop. Super painting!
ReplyDeleteStunning - and such incredible detail on the wrapper!
ReplyDeleteI remember the "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know!" commercials with Mr. Owl. My son is one to crunch into any lolly pop - it makes my teeth hurt just listening to it.
I love this one Uncle Mick!
