I can't believe it's been four months since our trip to New York City back in November. We were able to get in two days of walking around Central Park, the first one rainy, which was great, and the second on sunny. The leaves were at their best, still mostly on the trees but just starting to fall.
Obviously this was from the second day and it's of one of the pedestrian underpasses near the lower East side.

Nice painting Mick. The way you handled the filtered light. ... sweet.

Thanks Lee. I love Central Park and to me its all about the streams of light through the trees, landing on or around the the objects in the scene. That place is a pubic museum of outdoor objects that have been around for a couple hundred years. Rustic is a lot more interesting to paint!
