"Superstition #6" 11"x14" (Click here to bid on eBay)

I have painted Superstition Mountain so many times, that I now need to number them instead of trying to come up with new names. I shot this reference back in May of '08 when the vegetation was still green and in bloom. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Lincoln" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

One of the most amazing things to do in Washington was to drop by the Lincoln Memorial. So much history stands behind what this memorial represents that it as hard to believe I was standing there taking in what millions have done for nearly a century now. It was first planned in 1901 the first stone set in 1914, and was dedicated in 1922 by President Taft with Lincoln's only surviving son, Robert Todd Lincoln in attendance. "Working Late" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

This was a scene I shot as were were leaving a downtown restaurant on our last night in Washington D.C. It was raining and the streetlights had an interesting effect on the trees that line the streets and intersections of that city. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Under the Willows" 11x14 (Click here to bid on eBay)

The sun was low at around 6 pm when we first ran through this part of Central Park. I do mean run too. In the 3 days we were there, we must have gone up and down Manhattan 6 or 7 times, in all hours of the day. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Vernal Falls" 9x12 (Click here to bid on eBay)

My nephew, Garrett McConchie, has been letting me use some shots he took of Yosemite which he visited last summer. I have two or three more that I want to get to yet before I can someday get there to take my own. I hope I can shoot some as nicely as his. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Yosemite Wallflowers" 11"x14" (Click here to bid on eBay)

This is a scene I painted from some reference that my nephew, Garrett "Goose McConchie, let me use, from a trip he took to Yosemite earlier this year.
We stopped there once in the late 80's on one of our many trips back to Nebraska but were driven out of a mountain lake campsite by one pound mosquitos. Click on the image for a larger view.

"Central Park Stroll" 11"x14" (Click here to bid on eBay)

It was around 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon, after just watching the Yankees beat Boston in their last meeting that year, we jumped off the subway and made our way into Central Park for the first time. This is the pathway approach to the Bethesda memorial and fountain. Click on the image for a larger view.
