Here is the first painting that I've been able to do since leaving S.D. last Friday. It's the standout icon of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the main peak in the Tetons; Grand Teton. I'll probably post alot more of these in the coming week. I've decide to create a study of Teton Park on a larger scale that I will try to get shown in a gallery there. Click on the image for a larger view.
Mick, this is a nice one. Has a plein air feel to it.

Thanks Jo, I was tempted to paint while we were there, but it was 40 degrees the first day with 25 mph gusts, and the 2nd day was perfect. Too perfect to not want to run all over and shoot scenes to paint later.

Mick - that is one handsome painting from your trip. Can't wait to know more about what you saw through your eyes.
