This is another painting from life. I think it's easier to do it this way as long as the fruit you are painting isn't wilting or turning brown on you as try to finish it. I know a sliced apple will brown up in a half an hour. Click on the image for a larger view.

ReplyDeleteLove it, Mick. I'm amazed how detailed & realistic your paintings look at small sizes - yet viewing them at larger sizes leaves no doubt these are oil painting. I don't know what to say anymore, your paintings are very inspiring. Makes me wanna go out, buy some oil paints and paint myself.
