I'm trying to get thicker paint, and livelier strokes happening in my paintings while still achieving some degree of realism. I really admire Scott Burdick's work, but it takes a lot of nerve to plaster that much paint on a canvas, and make it look real. I'll keep pushing.
So realistic one can almost slip on your painting and break a bone or two!
